Women's sizes

Keep in mind: a clothing size 44 matches size 44 or 46 in the Pinup, so if you wear a 44 → Pinup 46. Only go for 44 if you want a very snug fit.

The Ibiza has a more closed back, so it gives more support and holds the tummy in better. Same sizing rule: if you wear a 44 → Ibiza 46.

Men's sizes

Keep in mind: a clothing size 46 matches size L in the H2otto, so if you wear a 48 → H2otto XL, and so on.

The Ucla follows your clothing size. Both models have a waist drawstring: if you don't like a tight suit, go one size up for comfort around the thighs too.

Training swimsuits

BONESWIMMER training swimsuits Pinup, Ibiza, Maui, H2Otto and UCLA are made of PBT (100% polyester); Milano and the BONESWIMMER x Vira capsule (Bondi, Malibu, New York) of 51% recycled polyester and 49% PBT. In both cases there is no elastic component at all in the yarn. That makes them ready for the hardest sessions and intensive, everyday use. The exact composition of each piece is on its product page, under ‘Materials and care’.

To perform, they have to fit like a second skin. Buy your usual clothing size for a very snug fit, or one size up if you don't want it too tight.

Which means it is perfectly normal to struggle getting them on: once in the water, where everything settles, you have a suit that performs and feels comfortable.

Chlorine can't touch them, but to keep lining and seams in perfect shape, rinse the suit in plenty of cold water after use and let it air dry.

Leisure and beach swimsuits

BONESWIMMER swimsuits in these collections contain a share of elastane, so they are easier to put on and comfortable out of the water too. You can wear them all day, not just for training.

For the right fit, buy your usual clothing size. Over time the suit adapts to your shape thanks to the stretch in the fibre.

Chlorine does damage these fabrics: to make your suit last, rinse it in plenty of cold water after EVERY use and let it air dry.

Our Lycra cap is built for comfort and breathability in training.
Its woven microfibre structure lets some air through, so your head stays cooler.
The right pick for hard sessions or warm conditions, like summer in outdoor pools, where ventilation and thermal comfort make a difference to performance.

Silicone or fabric swimming cap: which should I choose?

A silicone cap is stretchy and holds firmly, the classic choice for the pool. Fabric caps are made of Sydney Eco, 51% recycled polyester and 49% PBT, and are soft to wear. Choose silicone for more grip, fabric for more comfort.

Can I match the cap to my swimsuit?

Yes: many caps have the same print as the swimsuits, so your pool kit matches. You can also choose a plain colour.

Can I return a cap?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it has not been used. Personalised caps cannot be returned.
