Women's sizes: Pinup and Ibiza

Pinup and Ibiza come up small, so go one size up from your usual clothing size. If you wear a 44, pick a 46. Stick to your usual size only if you want a very snug fit.

Ibiza has a more closed back and gives the tummy more support and hold; the sizing rule is the same. Maui, New York, Bondi and Malibu are true to size: go one up if you prefer less compression.

Men's sizes: H2Otto, UCLA and Alaska

H2Otto: clothing size 46 is an L, 48 is an XL, and so on. UCLA and Alaska follow your clothing size.

All of them have a drawstring at the waist. If you don't like a tight suit, take one size up for comfort around the thighs too.

Training swimwear

Pinup, Ibiza, Maui, H2Otto and UCLA are made of PBT, 100% polyester; Milano and the BONESWIMMER x Vira capsule (New York, Alaska, Bondi, Malibu) of 51% recycled polyester and 49% PBT. There is no elastane in the yarn: the suit keeps its shape, doesn't fade and stands up to chlorine, even with daily use. The exact composition of each item is on its product page, under «Materials and care».

To work properly they need to fit like a second skin: getting into them is meant to be a struggle. In the water everything settles and the suit becomes comfortable and stable.

Beach and leisure swimwear

Alte, Dega, Milano, the Santorini, Tahiti, Big Sur, Hawaii and Papeete bikinis, the Samoa swim shorts and the kids' beach swimwear contain some elastane: easier to put on and comfortable out of the water too, all day long. Choose your usual clothing size: the fabric adapts to your body over time.

These pieces don't like chlorine: always rinse straight after the pool.

Care, for every swimsuit

Rinse in plenty of cold water after every use (chlorine, salt, sun cream) and let it air-dry, away from heat and direct sun. That way lining, seams and colours stay as good as day one.

(Bergamo): 100% polyester with PBT yarn, 180 g/m², white and sublimation-printed at a print house near our atelier. 4-way stretch, excellent coverage, chlorine resistant, UV protection; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and bluesign certified. No elastane: a close, stable fit in the water.

Frequently asked questions

H2Otto briefs or UCLA square-cut trunks?

H2Otto is the classic training brief; UCLA is the square-cut trunk with more coverage on the thigh. Both are made of Speed Line, 100% PBT polyester with no elastane, and have a drawstring at the waist.

Which size should I take?

H2Otto: Italian clothing size 46 corresponds to L, 48 to XL and so on. UCLA follows your clothing size. If you do not like tight swimwear, take one size up for comfort around the thigh as well.

Are they chlorine resistant?

Yes: PBT contains no elastane, so it does not lose its shape or fade in chlorinated water. Rinse the swimsuit in cold water after use to keep lining and seams perfect.

Where are they made?

In Italy, between Gallarate and Busto Arsizio: sublimation printing at a print house near our atelier and sewing in local workshops.
